While knowing Bruce for many years, we reconnected last summer during the evenings he was at the lake watching his grandsons learn to row. Bruce was a wonderful caring man. I wish I could come to his celebration of life but the Canadian high school rowing Championship is this weekend - I'm sure Bruce would understand.
