Irene Martin (Powell) 1921-2016
Peacefully, with her family at her side at Woodingford Lodge, Tillsonburg on Thursday, October 13, 2016 Irene Martin passed away at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late John Martin (1999). Loving Mother of Rodger (Joan) Martin, and Jim (Berv) Martin. Cherished Grandma of Michelle Myny, Cheri Rockefeller, Greg Rockefeller, RJ, Josh, Ashleigh and Karleigh Martin, Justine Davis, Mary, James, Jolon, Dori, Amber, Denae Martin and 27 Great Grandchildren. Irene will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Roy and daughter Mary. The family would like to express their great appreciation to her caregivers and good friends Lynda Pankratz and Kelly Cowell for all their love and dedication to Irene over the years. A special thank you to Dr. Roth and the Staff at Woodingford Lodge Tillsonburg. Cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Heart Stroke and Sakura House Woodstock would be greatly appreciated by the family. Condolences and Personal donations can be made at www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com
