Suddenly, on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, Ivan Lorne Lockey of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 69 years. Best friend and life partner of Jane Tilson. Amazing father and best friend to Jeff Lockey and his wife Corrin Baillie; Eric Lockey and his girlfriend Meaghan; Kathryn Peter and her husband Jon. Survived by his daughter-in-law and son-in-law Nicole and Derek Curtis and loving “Papa” to their children Evan and Clayton. Brother to Carol Diemert, Kelvin Lockey and his wife Deborah. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandchild Silas Leslie Peter (2015), parents Marjorie (2010) and Silas (1977), brothers Gary, Ross and Don and a nephew Jason. Ivan was a passionate family man and # 1 father to his children and was also a father figure to his children’s friends. Ivan was a loyal friend to many and was defined by his relationships with others. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Ivan at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private family service will follow with inurnment in the Aylmer Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
