I was in Grade 3 -4 sitting in the hallway with all the other classmates watching something on the screen from the old fashioned projecter . The larger clases like grade 7 and 8 werebehind the smaller grades . Someone had thrown a wad of gum and either hitsomeone in the head or the screen can't really remember that. I got picked up by one arm being so little then and taken to the office . Just so scared didnt know what was happening . Come to find out the principal thought itwas me throwing the gum ! My Uncle Lyle was watching what was happening and marched right in the office and made darn sure I wasnt going to get blamed and strapped for something i didnt do : I remember Uncle Lyle being so tall and me being so small he sure was my hero , I;m so glad he seen who thru it and waspayin attention I would ve got it for sure . Uncle Lyle was my saviour! xxoo
