William "Bill"  Fishback
William “Bill” Fishback, of Tillsonburg was called Home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Dorothy (Stover) Fishback for 53 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of John Fishback and his wife Merrilee of Tillsonburg and LeeAnn Fishback of Churchill, Manitoba. Cherished grandfather of Kevin and Alex Fishback. Dear brother of Effie Stephenson and George, Margaret Powers and Paul both of British Columbia, James Fishback and Carolyn of Georgetown, Ruby Keller and Ron, Harvey Fishback and Cindy both of Tillsonburg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Edith (Robbins) Fishback and his brother-in-law Murray Stover. Bill farmed in the Tillsonburg area for many years. He had a strong faith and was very active within his church and loved his family very much. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Bill will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Carl Walters, Alan Silvester and Mark Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in Cultus Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation, Gideons Bible Society or the Goshen Baptist Church would be appreciated by the Fishback family.
