Carolyn Pender 1951 - 2016
Peacefully, on Saturday, December 31, 2016, with her family at her side, Carolyn Pender, of Clear Creek, at the age 65 years. Beloved wife to Edward Pender for 47 years. Caring and much loved mother to Shawn and her husband Paul Steyaert, Jody Pender and her partner Gary Stinson, and Duane and his partner Laureen Paquette. Adored grandmother of Ashley, Steven, Cody, Hailey, Hannah and great grandmother to Jaden. One of the many highlights of Carolyn’s life was the presentation in 2007 for the OPP Commissioner’s Commendation for Humanitarian Actions. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 3T6 (519-842-5221), on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at a later date, all those that knew Carolyn will be invited. Memorial donations in Carolyn’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army or Lung Cancer Research by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, who have been entrusted with Carolyn’s arrangements.
