Obituary for Jack Williams

Peacefully, with his family by his side at Caressant Care Nursing Home, St. Thomas on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, Jack Williams, formerly of Vienna, passed away at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Connie (Emerson) Williams. Proud and loving father of Bryan Williams and his wife Ellen of Seattle, Larry Williams of Ridgeway, Wayne Williams and his wife Laura of St. Thomas and Glenn Williams and his wife Patty of London. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Andrew, Meaghan, Shannon, Lindsey, James, Annie, Nicole, Jeffrey and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bruce Williams and his wife Jean of Orillia and Jean Firth and her husband Donald of London. Predeceased by his parents Laurel and Blanche (Barker) Williams, brother Frank Williams, sister Elaine Aslin and his daughter-in-law Lorraine Williams. Friends will be received by the Williams family at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Masonic Memorial Service under the auspices of Oriental Lodge # 181 will be held on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Jack will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Robert Clifford officiating. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. Memorial donations to the Canadian Hearing Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Williams family.
