Peacefully, at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Monday, July 11, 2016, Doreen B. (Brown) Thompson passed away at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Wilbourne Thompson (1949). Loving mother of David Thompson and his wife Supattra of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Nils Thompson of Penbrooke and Sarah Thompson of Tillsonburg. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Mayme Thomson, Mabel Hassard, Jessie Jantzi and brothers Harold, Willard, Howard and David Brown. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
