Eleanor Mary Aitchison (1928-2016)
Eleanor Mary (Epplett) Aitchison, of Tillsonburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years. Loving wife and best friend of Robert “Bob” Aitchison. Caring and loving mother to Daniel Aitchison (Kimberley). Cherished grandmother to Lauren, Katelyn and Andrew Aitchison. Dear sister of Donald Epplett (Marion) and Pauline Lazenby (Keith). Sister-in-law to June Clement. Predeceased by her parents William and May Epplett; brothers Kenneth Epplett and Gordon Epplett; mother and father-in-law Percival and Catherine Aitchison and brother-in-law Douglas Aitchison. In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The Memorial service for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, (519) 842-5221.
