Marion moved to Tillsonburg in 1954 to begin her 30 year nursing career at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.

Marion has contributed tirelessly to the Tillsonburg community over the last 60 plus years. Her efforts over the years have been vital to the Helping Hand Food Bank, Annandale National Historic Site, Tillsonburg & District Historical Society, Victorian Order of Nurses, Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, Canadian Cancer Society, Tillsonburg Curling Club, Tillsonburg Tri-County Agricultural Society, and the list goes on.
