Ford, Margaret “Marg” Anne (Simpson) passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in her 77th year. Beloved wife, of 43 years, to the Late Leo Ford (2004). Survived by her children, Leo Jr. (Rhonda) of Tillsonburg, Glen (Susan) Ford of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, Leanne Ford of Straffordville. Much loved grandma to Damian,Brandon,Gus&Mackenzie and great-granddaughter Gabriella. Also survived by her sisters Frances Gehrken of Kingston and Thelma Trottman of Colbourne and her brother Bruce (Isabel) Simpson of Florida. Sisters-in-law, Verna Simpson of Colborne and Anna Marie Simpson of Seaforth and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Finley Simpson (1961), Mae (Freeman) Simpson (1971), brothers Nelson (1995), Harry (1994), Royce (2003), Sisters Ethel (1918), Jenny (1918) and Ruby Walker (2003), Marion Grills (2015). Before retiring she was employed in the offices of Dan and Gabe DeCloet for 23 years. An Active member of Tillsonburg Legion Branch # 153 Ladies Auxiliary for 34 years and an avid card player. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Marg at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Friday, May 06, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Legion Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Service for Marg will be held at the Ostrander’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, May 07, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment to follow in the Straffordville Cemetery. Donations in Marg’s memory may be made to The Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 153, Tillsonburg .
