Peacefully at Sakura House in Woodstock on Friday, October 30, 2015, Jerry “Chief” Edward Underhill, passed away at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Debbie (Granger) Underhill. Loving and caring father of Tanya Houler (Mike) of Ingersoll, Stacy Underhill (Mat) of New Liskeard, Chris Underhill of Tillsonburg and Barbara Underhill of Tillsonburg. Proud step-father of Chad Granger (Krista) of Caledonia, Adam Granger (Dawn) of Kincardine, Bryan Granger (Amber) of Tillsonburg and Crystal LaForge (Derek) of Langton. Cherished grandfather of Kaillee, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Katherine, Cole, Ethan, Tessie, Jayden, Tyler, Samantha, Max, Kylie, Addison, Natan, Nova, Slade, Colton, Chase and great-grandfather of Bella. Also survived by his siblings and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Hazel Underhill. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Jerry will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lola Mather-Dyer officiating. Interment to follow in Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sakura House would be appreciated by the family.
