Peacefully, at Maple Manor Nursing Home on Monday, March 10, 2008 Lena Young of Tillsonburg, formerly of Charlotteville in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Victor Young (1975). Dear mother of the late George Staley (1966) and Florence Staley (1998). Loving grandmother to Jeanne (Marty) Jardine of Tillsonburg; Larry (Sonja) Staley of Tillsonburg. Great-grandmother to Brian Staley and his fiancé Sasha Lumsden, Ashley Staley, and Alecia Jardine. Dear sister of Louis (Ruby) Docker of Courtland. Lena was predeceased by her sisters Olive (Ken) Curtis of Courtland; Alma (Jim) Babbey of Tillsonburg; Alberta (Keith) Leighfield of Langton, as well as two infant sisters, and an infant brother. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lena was a member of the Golden Age Seniors Group of Courtland, and a life member of Courtland United Church. The family will receive friends at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her long life will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 1 p.m. Rev.
